Signs empaths are coping less than optimally are specific to each person, however, feeling fearful without reason, extreme guilt that you are responsible for everyone but unable to cure them of their issues, stress upon entering a room without basis for that stress, feeling physical pain for which there is no cause, exhaustion after being with certain people or in certain situations, even though you are in good health and have had adequate sleep. These are just a few of the signs of empath overload.
